Saturday Circles
Apr 17th, 2010 by Wendy

Circles are everywhere…everywhere I tell you! But sometimes they are fleeting. While spring has sprung in other places, we still have below freezing temperatures, snow or frost in the night.

By noon it can be “shorts weather”Nails in SnowDble Nails (if you wear shorts when it’s in the 40’s and 50’s).

The squirrel has learned the secret of the Sasquatch in the Red Coat: peanuts. Or maybe Mr. Squirrel has a Blue Jay Identity Complex?

The sounds of spring are in the air, even as we still have snow on the ground and below freezing temperatures. It’s the sound of the busy little birds- the nuthatches, mountain chickadees, and junco’s. When they return to Sunriver, spring is sure to follow.

As winter comes to an end, so am I finishing a quilt project started ages ago. Although it was never officially a UFO (UnFinished Object), I did put it aside quite a few times. With spring comes the birds and new projects. Oh boy!

Snow Tanning Spot

What a difference 12 hours makes! Last night, we cooked chicken on the bar-be-que. This morning, we have about a foot of snow.

After wearing out  SmartWool  socks a pair at a time, I hit the SmartWool sock sales going on in Bend. Now I have 4 pairs to wear out this winter! And a SmartWool Scarf. I will keep warm!!!The Barbeque!Bird Hide Out
